Volunteers from Pleasant Grove VFD assisted Harmony VFD put out a pasture fire on Jan. 3. About two acres were scorched when a control burn got away from the property owner. Four PGVFD volunteers responded with a brush truck and its tender. Harmony responded with three brush trucks. Although the fire, off of Live Oak Road, proved to be a little challenging to get to, it didn’t take long to extinguish.
